Ghostly Fun in Historic Downtown Napa

This past Saturday, on the evening of All Saints Day – aka the Day of the Dead – Napa County Historical Society held its first ever Downtown Napa Ghost Tour. Guests got sneak peeks inside one of the most haunted buildings in the county, visited a fantastic Día de Muertos altar at Pearl Restaurant, and heard gruesome tales of murder, mischief, and mayhem along the moonlit banks of the Napa River. Napkins Bar and Grill treated attendees with specially crafted Halloween-themed apéritifs and hors d’oeuvres at their bar decorated by our historical photos and maps. Not to mention special guests like NPD detective Todd Shulman, Councilmember Scott Sedgley, and “cemetery lady” Nancy Brennan telling their ghastly stories of old Napa.

The tour was so popular that we increased the number of allowed guests and STILL sold out over a week before the tour! If you couldn’t make it this year, don’t worry, we’ll do it again next year. Make sure you’re on our email list for advance notification of our programs and events.

We hope you had a fun and safe Halloween!
