The Napa County Historical Society has long maintained historic walking tours as part of our local history program. With an increase in virtual engagement and the recent COVID-19 shelter-in-place protocol to maintain social distancing; we have migrated all of our in-person events to the virtual arena, for the time being. Stay tuned to our monthly newsletter, social media posts, Youtube channel, and Eventbrite pages to hear of our newest virtual tours.

Register for our upcoming event — Thursday, October 29, we will be joined in conversation with the creative team of a new venture at the NCHS. We are launching the video premiere of the first in a series of interactive tours, beginning with Maria de Jesus Higuera Juarez (1815-1890).

Who Tells Our Story virtual opening tour

Hosted on Friday, October 2, our first Fall 2020 exhibit virtual tour was held live on Zoom for the first 30 minutes. After experiencing network bandwidth difficulties we switched gears and recorded the end of the tour without a Zoom audience. Please stay tuned for the published recording.
