October 12, 2023 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

NCHS Members and their guests are invited to join us in welcoming our new exhibit, City of Immigrants: An American Story. This exhibit explores the many waves of immigration into the valley over a hundred years, from 1820 to 1920.
The waves of immigration over the centuries created a rich tapestry of ethnicities and cultural blending.
Every ethnicity has left its stamp on the Valley whether or not it is immediately discernible. When we look around, we see the imprints of immigrants archaeologically and visually, as well as in words, names, and esthetics. A City of Immigrants highlights the impact each group had on the valley building a more nuanced history that celebrates diversity.
