Echoes of Napa Valley Recording Sessions
Our Echoes of the Napa Valley program is a part of our Oral History initiative, collecting recorded stories from Napa County residents. This page includes resources for how to record your own family stories or interview a friend or family member. You will also find information about recording sessions through the Napa County Historical Society where we can record a story for you, in person or via Zoom.
Each recording will be archived and edited podcasts may be used to enhance future exhibits or aid researchers. NCHS will edit audio files for quality.
The average recording is about 10 minutes, with recording sessions at NCHS lasting about 15 minutes. Recording sessions are available by appointment. Contact us at (707)224-1739 or info@napahistory.org to reserve a storytelling time. We are excited to hear from you!
