Last summer NCHS received a huge donation of thousands of negatives from the Napa Valley Register spanning the 1960s-2000s. We are still in the arduous process of sorting through the negatives, but we have uncovered some very cool gems.
The negatives below were taken late May and early June 1983 as Napan’s prepared forthe final movie in the original Star Wars trilogy, Return of the Jedi. As long as the lines were for Episode VII: The Force Awakens in December, just imagine how much longer they would be without credit cards and online ticket sales…
