Shouting Down the Wind looks at 200 years of pioneering women in Napa Valley.  The exhibit explores different facets of the community, highlighting women who have made a difference in each generation.  Women have stepped up to protect their families and help communities thrive.  Some have taken on Herculean tasks and others changed history forever.

There is no culture or aspect of the Valley in the past or today that women have not participated in and succeeded.  The exhibit celebrates the achievements of Napa women using photography, newspapers, and memorabilia.
