This 11′ x 17′ poster was made by graphic designer, Sovan San. Sovan worked with NCHS staff to design imagery highlighting the final three themes in our Sound Exhibit. The image chosen for this poster is a lithograph drawing of the Weinberger cellars in St. Helena. The rest of the exhibit shares stories of the Donner Pass survivors who started the Valley’s first school, the Trubody family, the Moores of Moore Creek, Berryessa Valley, the early wagon trains, and many more Mexican and Euro-American immigrants who traveled by wagonand foot to get to Alta California in the mid-19th century.
