Just as winter releases its hold on the valley and the vines start to awaken, we invite you to join us on March 21 and 22, 2013 for two exceptional days of tours, tastings, and dining events at five historic Napa Valley wineries. The tour focuses on these iconic wineries: Chateau Montelena Winery, Trefethen Family Vineyards, Far Niente Winery, Beaulieu Vineyard®, and Del Dotto Vineyards. These spectacular wineries are the work of Hamden W. McIntyre, often credited with designing the first gravity-flow wineries in the Valley. Highlights include wine tastings and tours at all locations and unique dining experiences. There will also be a special visit to Rutherford House, Beaulieu’s grand Craftsman residence, which is being opened especially for this tour.
Lunch will be provided by two of the valley’s most renowned chefs. Chef Christopher Kostow, with three Michelin stars, a rare four stars from the San Francisco Chronicle, and one of Food & Wine magazine’s Best New Chefs, will host guests at luxury resort Meadowood Napa Valley. Lunch will also be served at Del Dotto Winery by their executive winery Chef Joshua Schwartz, lately of The French Laundry and Bouchon. Chef Schwartz has also served as Private Dining Chef at Thomas Keller’s Per Se in New York City.
